The 1975 Comic-Con was a star studded gathering and thanks to Shel Dorf, I was a part of it.

Chuck Norris was the biggest name at the time and he was very available to the fans and did a sensational Karate
demonstration with his brother, Aaron.
Jim Steranko is a legend in several fields. Comic art, magic and escape are some of them. He came out to the Con with
his friend Walter B. Gibson, the creator of "the Shadow" and I was lucky enough to go to the the Magic Castle with the
two of them after the Con.
Jim Harmon was a pal back in those days. He put me in
his Curly Bradley radio shows.
George Clayton Johnson and I had some memorable conversations, one of which he illustrated. (below)

I'm proud to be on the same page of the '75 program as Rich Butner and Ray Bradbury.

But the biggest thrill for me was showing my Houdini slides and films while Walter Gibson, who had
known Houdini and had done some ghost-writing for him, did commentary.
