There were five Houdinis!!!
This is not a Houdini letter per se unless you consider that there were
at least five Houdinis. There was Harry, of course, but then there was
Bessie and there were the other Bros. Houdini: Theo (Dash), J. H. (Jacob
Hyman) and Joseph (later known as Joe Hayman). Here is a letter from
Dash Hardeen to Jacob Hyman, who was by that time a Beverly Hills
eye, ear, nose and throat physician. Much of the letter is about Bessie
and the "messages" she was beginning to receive from Houdini via
medium Arthur Ford
